We are currently based at Watford Leisure Centre (Central). Our location has numerous transport options including free parking at the centre. We play in the sports hall that is custom built for racquet sports and has been upgraded with LED lighting. We always meet every Monday night from 6.25pm to 8.25pm and can have a maximum of four courts exclusive to our club.
We have always encouraged a mixed membership with a varied range of skills from intermediate upwards and ages above 18 with no upper limit! At present we have a very healthy equal number of ladies and gentleman which adds significant playing combinations for added enjoyment.
Playing ability
To join our club, you must play at a reasonable (intermediate) standard. This ensures a healthy balance of both competition and fun. If you are a beginner, we recommend you practice with players of a similar ability to build your experience and understanding of the game.
Membership fees
Membership fees are reviewed annually and are based on a quarter which is 13 weeks. Please note that this does not include bank holidays when the leisure centre is closed. Fees are paid quarterly. We do not offer a monthly or pay-as-you-go option. As of 1st April 2020, fees are £45 per quarter.
